Luscious Low Carb Lasagna By: Thanks to Empower Foods |

Serves 4
Per serve:
• 7g carbs and 55g protein
Ingredients:
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 100g onion, chopped
• 1 clove garlic, crushed
• 600g minced steak
• 150g tomatoes, chopped
• 150g mushrooms, sliced
• 4 tablespoons Empower Foods LC Tomato Sauce
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 teaspoon salt
• Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
• 4 Empower Foods Power Wraps, cut in half
• 200g tasty cheese, grated
Method:
1. Oven 180°C.
2. Heat oil in a large frying pan. Cook onion and garlic for a few minutes over medium heat until onion is transparent.
3. Add mince, tomatoes, mushrooms, tomato sauce, oregano, salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Line a lightly oiled baking dish with one layer of Power Wraps. Top with half of the meat mixture, then half of the grated cheese. Repeat with another layer of Power Wraps, then the remaining half of the meat and finally the cheese.
5. Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown. |
